What is Patois Creative Studio?
Patois Creative Studio is a creative space in Grenada offering arts and crafts workshops for both adults and children. Our mission is to blend creativity, culture, and education, providing hands-on experiences that inspire artistic expression and lifelong learning.
Where is Patois Creative Studio located?
The studio will be based in Springs, St. George’s upstairs Salon Success, next to the Baptist Church.
Who can participate in workshops?
Our workshops cater to all ages—children (7-17), adults, and seniors. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced crafter, there’s something for everyone!
Do I need prior experience in crafting to join?
Not at all! Our workshops are designed for all skill levels, from complete beginners to seasoned crafters.
When will Patois Creative Studio officially open?
We are excited to launch in April 2025 and look forward to welcoming you!

What types of workshops do you offer?
We offer a wide range of creative sessions, including painting, jewellery making, pottery, polymer clay crafts, wine bottle art, fascinator hat design, succulent pot painting, and seasonal craft workshops, to name a few.
What is Crafty Math?
Crafty Math is a unique program for children that integrates crafting with mathematical concepts, making learning fun, engaging, and hands-on.
What is Crafty Cash Flow?
Crafty Cash Flow is not your typical financial literacy class—it's a dynamic, hands-on experience designed to empower adults with essential money management skills while embracing creativity. Led by our founder—who holds a PhD in Financial Management and master’s degrees in actuarial science and finance—this program takes a refreshing, real-world approach to financial education.
Through engaging activities and interactive discussions, participants will master budgeting, saving,

investing, and wealth-building strategies, all in an environment that makes learning exciting, accessible,
and tailored to real-life situations. Whether you want to take control of your finances or gain the
confidence to make smarter financial decisions, Crafty Cash Flow will give you the tools to transform your
financial future—one creative session at a time!

Do you offer senior-friendly workshops?
Yes! We have craft sessions tailored for seniors, providing a relaxing and enjoyable way to stay engaged and creative.
Are there workshops for couples?
Yes! We host special events like Crafty Chemistry Couples Night, where couples work together on a creative project to strengthen their bond.
Do you have social events for singles?
Absolutely! Our Singles Night is designed for men and women to meet, mingle, and connect in a fun, creative environment while crafting.

Do you offer kids' holiday camps?

Do I have to bring my own supplies?
No, all materials and tools will be provided as part of the workshop fee.
How long do workshops last?
Most workshops range from 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on the activity.
Can I request a specific craft or workshop?
Yes! We welcome suggestions and can customize sessions based on interest and demand.

Pricing & Membership

How much do workshops cost?
Prices vary depending on the type and duration of the workshop. Full pricing details will be available upon registration.
Do you offer membership plans?
Not at present, but based on demand, we will have membership options that provide exclusive discounts, priority booking, and special perks.
Are there discounts for groups?
Yes, we offer group discounts for private events, corporate team-building sessions, and birthday parties.
Do you offer gift vouchers?
Yes! You can purchase gift vouchers so a friend or family member can enjoy a creative experience.
Can I pay online for a workshop?
We plan to offer online payment options for convenience, such as PayPal and Go2Pay for now. Otherwise bank transfers and payments by cash are welcomed.

Private Events & Special Requests

Can I book a private workshop for a group?
Yes! We offer private sessions for birthdays, bridal showers, corporate events, and other celebrations.
Do you offer corporate team-building workshops?
Absolutely! Our craft-based team-building activities are great for strengthening collaboration and creativity among employees.
Can I rent the studio space for my own event?
Yes, we will offer studio rentals for private events. Contact us for availability and pricing.

Children & Parental Concerns

Is the studio child-friendly?
Yes! We have workshops specially designed for children in a safe and welcoming environment.
Can parents stay during kids' workshops?
Parents are welcome to observe, but we encourage children to engage independently unless it's a parent-child or family workshop.
Do you offer a drop-off service for kids?
Yes! Parents can drop off their children for designated kids' workshops, where they’ll enjoy crafts and math learning. Children must be signed in and out by a parent or authorized guardian. A late pick-up fee of $10 per 15 minutes may be applied if a child is not picked up on time. Parents must notify the studio in advance if someone other than the listed guardian will pick up their child.

How do I sign up for a workshop?

What is your cancellation and refund policy?
If a participant cannot attend a scheduled session, a 24-hour notice is required to reschedule (subject to availability). Missed sessions without prior notice are non-refundable and non-transferable. Patois Creative Studio reserves the right to cancel or reschedule sessions due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., instructor unavailability or inclement weather). Participants will be notified in such cases, and a makeup session or credit will be provided.

Refunds are only granted if a cancellation request is made at least 1 day (24 hours) before the start of the session. A processing fee may be deducted from the refund amount. If a participant withdraws after the session has started, no refunds will be provided. In exceptional cases (e.g., medical emergencies), refunds with appropriate documentation may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Additional Questions About Workshops & Services

Will there be online workshops available?
In the future, based on demand, we may offer virtual craft sessions so participants can join from anywhere.
Will workshops be held only in the studio, or will there be pop-up events?
While most workshops will take place in our studio, we also plan to host pop-up crafting events at different locations across Grenada.
Do you collaborate with local artists?
Yes! We are passionate about fostering collaboration and will work with local artists and artisans to create special workshops and events.

Can I bring my own materials to a workshop?
Our workshops typically include all necessary materials, but if you have a special item you’d like to incorporate, let us know in advance!
Are the workshops hands-on, or will there be demonstrations?
All of our sessions are hands-on, but the instructor will provide live demonstrations and guidance throughout the process.
Can I commission a custom craft from the studio?
Yes! Depending on the request and availability, we will take limited commissions for handcrafted items. (Please use our "Contact Us" form to make your request.)
Will you sell crafting supplies in the studio?
Eventually, we plan to offer a small selection of crafting materials, DIY kits, and art supplies for purchase.
Do you offer workshops that incorporate Grenadian culture?
Absolutely! We aim to celebrate local culture through craft, so we will have workshops featuring traditional Grenadian art forms and techniques.
What safety measures do you have for children’s workshops?
We prioritize child safety by maintaining small class sizes, using non-toxic materials, and ensuring adult supervision at all times. Protective child gates are installed to restrict movement only to supervised spaces.
