1. Introduction
Welcome to Patois Creative Studio! We are committed to providing a safe, creative, and educational environment for all participants. By enrolling in our programs, you agree to the following terms and policies. Please read carefully before registering your child or yourself for any session.
2. Registration & Enrollment
All participants must be registered via our official online form prior to attending any session.
Parents/Guardians must complete all required fields, including emergency contacts and health information.
Registration is only confirmed once payment is received.
Enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis, and spaces are limited.
3. Payment & Fees
Fees vary based on session type, duration, and materials provided.
Payment must be made in full prior to the session, unless a payment plan has been pre-approved.
We accept cash, bank transfers, PayPal, Go2Pay payments
Late payments may result in the suspension of participation until the balance is settled.
Refunds are only issued under specific circumstances outlined in our Refund Policy (see Section 5).
4. Attendance & Cancellations
If a participant cannot attend a scheduled session, a 24-hour notice is required to reschedule (subject to availability).
Missed sessions without prior notice are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Patois Creative Studio reserves the right to cancel or reschedule sessions due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., instructor unavailability or inclement weather). Participants will be notified in such cases, and a makeup session or credit will be provided.
5. Refund Policy
Refunds are only granted if a cancellation request is made at least 1 day (24 hours) before the start of the session.
A processing fee may be deducted from the refund amount.
If a participant withdraws after the session has started, no refunds will be provided.
In exceptional cases (e.g., medical emergencies), refunds with appropriate documentation may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
6. Health & Safety
Parents/Guardians must disclose any medical conditions, allergies, or special needs at the time of registration.
Patois Creative Studio is not responsible for administering medication but will take necessary precautions to ensure a safe environment.
If a child exhibits signs of illness, they should not attend the session. Parents will be contacted for immediate pickup if symptoms develop during a session.
All tools and materials will be sanitized regularly to maintain hygiene standards.
7. Drop-Off & Pick-Up Policies
Children must be signed in and out by a parent or authorized guardian.
A late pick-up fee of $10 per 15 minutes may be applied if a child is not picked up on time.
Parents must notify the studio in advance if someone other than the listed guardian will pick up their child.
8. Behavior Expectations & Dismissal Policy
Participants are expected to be respectful, cooperative, and engaged.
Bullying, disruptive behaviour, or intentional damage to materials/equipment will not be tolerated.
If a participant's behaviour becomes problematic, a warning will be issued. Repeated issues may result in dismissal from the program without a refund.
9. Photography & Media Consent
Patois Creative Studio may take photographs and videos of sessions for promotional purposes.
By enrolling, you consent to use your child’s image in marketing materials, social media, and the studio’s website.
If you wish to opt-out, please indicate this preference when you register.
10. Intellectual Property & Project Ownership
Participants retain ownership of the projects they create.
Patois Creative Studio may display any artwork, crafts, or creations made during sessions for promotional purposes (with credit given to the creator).
Without written consent, the studio's lesson plans, worksheets, and proprietary methods may not be copied, distributed, or used for commercial purposes.
11. Protection of Studio Property & Equipment
All participants are responsible for the proper use and care of studio materials, tools, and protective gear.
Protective gear (e.g., aprons, gloves, goggles) and any borrowed tools must be returned at the end of the session.
Failure to return provided protective gear and tools may result in additional charges.
Participants must respect the studio’s furniture, equipment, and general surroundings. Any intentional damage or misuse may result in financial liability.
Patois Creative Studio reserves the right to charge participants for lost, damaged, or unreturned items.
12. Liability Waiver
Patois Creative Studio is not responsible for injuries, lost/stolen personal items, or damages occurring during sessions.
Parents/Guardians acknowledge that participation involves inherent risks and agree not to hold the studio liable for any incidents.
